Andhra Pradesh of India is encouraging families to give birth to many children.

Calling on women to have many children, the pradesh is conducting positive information activities on the negative consequences of population reduction and ageing.

On May 16 it unveiled a plan for supporting the families with over three children.

At present, the population in the region is reportedly decreasing as the birth rate goes down.
