The participants in the Ninth Congress of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea laid a flower basket before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang on May 8.

The participants climbed the hill of immortality of the great leaders, recollecting the immortal revolutionary careers and exploits of the peerlessly great men who put forward the working class of the DPRK as the eldest son of the country and vanguard of the revolution supporting the cause of the Workers’ Party of Korea in the van and guided them step by step.

They laid the flower basket and bouquets before the statues of the President and the Chairman and paid tribute to them with boundless reverence for them.

All the participants were full of revolutionary enthusiasm to uphold the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with one mind and loyalty and to fulfil their honourable mission and duty as vanguard fighters of self-reliance and standard-bearers of creation in the struggle to attain the new long-term goals set forth by the Ninth Congress of the WPK by creditably carrying forward the tradition of struggle of the heroic Korean working class.
