Chinese FM condemns US for insulting AI achievements
May 4, 2026A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry censured the US for insulting his country’s AI industry development achievements at a press conference on April 24.
Answering a question put by a journalist as regards the fact that the US accused China of stealing the intellectual property rights of its AI laboratory, the spokesman branded and rejected it as totally groundless and as an insult to China’s AI industry development achievements.
He strongly urged the US to respect the fact, drop its prejudice and stop restraining and shackling China’s science and technology.
