A poetry recital of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) took place at the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site in Nampho Municipality on April 23 on the occasion of the 94th founding anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.

Present there were Ri Won Jong, chairman of the Central Committee of the GFTUK, trade union officials and workers and trade union members in Nampho.

The performers highly praised the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung who founded the first genuine armed force of Korea and organized and led the revolutionary cause for the freedom and liberation of the country and people to victory.

The poem “Twenty years” impressively tells that an unyielding spirit and formidable strength with which to prevail over the imperialist tyranny was nurtured and the great tradition of fundamental and enduring significance in the development of the Korean revolution was established in the anti-Japanese armed unit led by Comrade Kim Il Sung.

After the performance, the participants made a study tour of the Kuksabong Revolutionary Battle Site and held a study session of the reminiscences of the anti-Japanese guerrillas.
