Province concentrates efforts on creating forests of economic value
April 14, 2026A vigorous mass movement is being conducted in Jagang Province to create forests of economic value.
As the second-stage forest restoration has been launched, the province has drawn up a long-term plan for remodelling the shrubberies, treeless places and pure forests on the basis of survey data on the state of forest creation in the region and is concentrating efforts and means on planting trees.
Cities and counties are striving to remodel the nurseries for putting the sapling production on a scientific, industrial and intensive basis and secure enough species necessary for the creation of forests of economic value, including forests of oil-bearing trees, forests for obtaining raw materials for paper production and forests of wild fruit trees.
They have planted trees on a long-term basis by focusing on accumulating forests and increasing the output of resources.
