A Pyongyang international exhibition of tourist souvenirs and health goods opened.

Presented to the exhibition are tourist souvenirs including various kinds of handicrafts and ornaments and health goods developed and produced by the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Public Health and other units in the DPRK and businesses of Russia and China and data on sci-tech achievements.

An opening ceremony took place at the Sci-Tech Complex on April 10.

Present there were Jong Song Il, director general of the National Tourism Administration, officials concerned, the officials and workers of the exhibiting units and the members of Russian and Chinese exhibition delegations.

At the ceremony, the speaker declared the exhibition open, expressing belief that it would be a significant occasion in further developing the tourist industry, widely disseminating and exchanging the successes and experience gained in the development of tourist souvenirs and health goods and expanding and strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations among countries.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round the exhibition hall.
