Many students of graduating classes of senior middle schools in Ryanggang Province have volunteered for frontline border military posts.

Meetings for congratulating the volunteers took place in the relevant cities and counties.

At the meetings, speakers called on all the volunteers to perform feats of loyalty and patriotism at every moment of military service, always conscious that national defence is the most vivid expression of patriotism and a sacred duty of young people.

The volunteers who took the floor said that the young people, who have grown up drinking water of Mt Paektu and breathing its air, have to guard the forefront posts for defending the country and the revolution, expressing their resolve to carry out the order of the country devotedly like the combatants who fully demonstrated to the whole world the mightiness of the Korean People's Army in the overseas military operations.
