The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Min Pu Yong, a woman living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 15 of Yonha-dong, Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province, on her 100th birthday.

Born into a poor peasant family before Korea’s liberation, Min experienced the sorrow of a stateless nation and lived in poverty. She could lead a genuine happy life only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

With a resolve to repay the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea, she had worked sincerely at her post and led her children with practical examples to fulfil their duty as masters of the country.

Officials of the Party and power organs in the City of Haeju and villagers congratulated her family.
