Russian FM decries US’ policy of hegemony
March 28, 2026Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov denounced the US’ hegemony-seeking policy in a TV interview on March 21.
The US has attempted to reduce the proportion Russia assumes in energy markets of Europe and will do so in the future, too, he said, adding that it means that it is openly seeking its hegemony in the energy field throughout the world.
The US is thinking of only its own interests and resorting to every possible means and method in its interests, he noted.
