Working people’s organizations planted trees on the occasion of Tree-planting Day.

Officials of the central committee of the youth league, youth league officials and members in Pyongyang and commanding officers and members of the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade planted hundreds of trees of over 10 species at the April 15 Children’s Flower Garden.

Young people in South and North Hwanghae provinces and other parts of the country fulfilled the technical requirements in pit digging, humus soil carpeting and earth covering in order to increase the survival rate of the trees they planted.

Officials and members of the UAWK in Nampho and Kaesong municipalities planted trees in their native places and hardened their patriotic will to devote themselves to the prosperity of the country.

Officials of the Central Committee of the women’s union planted trees of good species with sincerity at the Oun Revolutionary Site associated with the immortal revolutionary exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Women’s union members in North Phyongan and North Hamgyong provinces planted trees in a responsible manner, focusing on ensuring the survival rate of trees.
