Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Alexander Lukashenko, president of the Republic of Belarus, on March 13.

The message said:

Respected Your Excellency President,

I express deep thanks to you for sending warm congratulations on my reelection as the general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea at the Ninth Congress of the WPK.

We are willing to expand and develop the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation with the Republic of Belarus on a new high stage as required by the new era.

I wish you good health and greater success in your responsible work for defending the sovereignty of the country and promoting the well-being of the people.
