The machine-building industry sector is working hard to consolidate its material and technical foundations.

The Ryongsong Machine Complex has made a new high-performance CNC machining centre to raise its productivity while ensuring the machining accuracy, and put several combined processing machines and planer-type milling machines on a CNC basis.

The Taean Heavy Machine Complex has established a waste oil recycling process by settling sci-tech problems arising in manufacturing and installing tens of pieces of equipment of 20-odd kinds in close contact with the relevant units.

The complex has upgraded the bearing steel production process while newly establishing an integrated production and management system, thus increasing the actual output.
