The Onpho Working People’s Holiday Camp opened in the DPRK.

The holiday camp, located in a picturesque place, has facilities for hot-spring therapy and recuperation and comprehensive service bases. Every part of the holiday camp is now overflowing with laughter and joy of the people.

A ceremony of receiving the first-term holidaymakers took place on February 25.

Present there were officials concerned, labour innovators in the major production sectors, including the metallurgical, chemical, electric power and coal-mining industries, and the agricultural sector and employees of the holiday camp.

At the ceremony a speaker warmly congratulated the holidaymakers on visiting the scenic spot which has turned into a comprehensive cultural recreation base and medical service centre.

That day an art performance was given by the North Hamgyong Provincial Artistic Information Team to congratulate the ceremony.

Going round with admiration the camp buildings and hot springs equipped with facilities for providing cultural recreation and medical service at a high level while preserving the unique scenery and features of a mountainous area, the holidaymakers sensed a new phase of the Korean-style hot spring culture blooming day by day.
