The Canadian prime minister expressed opposition to the US’ threat to impose tariff in relation to the Greenland issue on January 20.

Canada is strongly opposed to the US’ threat, he said, adding that it fully supports the right to decide on the future of Greenland which only the island and Denmark have.

Recently, the US has been bitterly denounced and censured by the Western allies for threatening to impose tariff on eight European countries which are against its Greenland annexation plan.
