Crimes are rampant in Western countries around New Year’s Day

Bloody, violent crimes occurred in succession in Western countries around New Year’s Day.

A man in his 20s brandished a knife to cause three casualties in a northern city of Sweden on December 25 last year. On the following day, several people were wounded in stabbing incidents in Paris, France, and in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

On December 30, a person was killed and three others injured due to gun violence in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the following day shooting caused two casualties in Lisbon, Portugal.

Two persons were shot to death in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on New Year’s Day and an armed thug shot a man to death while passing by car in Melbourne, Australia, on January 3.

The old year ended and the new year started with bloody murders and other violent crimes in the Western world governed by the law of the jungle.
