Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered his New Year address on the occasion of the New Year 2026.

He said that the Russian people greeting the New Year have their future and that what the future will be depends on them in many cases.

Russia believes in its strength and is always ready to shoulder responsibility, he said, adding that this enables the Russian people to be confident that everything they are determined to do, all their hopes and plans, will surely come true.

He noted that everyone has their own personal and unique hopes and plans and that all these are unthinkable apart from the sincere aspiration to bring prosperity to the country.

After referring to the fact that the participants in the special military operations, heroes of Russia, accepted it as their responsibility to fight for the land of the country, justice and truth, he congratulated all the combatants and commanding officers greeting the New Year, saying that a large number of people in Russia are with the participants in the special military operations.

He affirmed that all the Russian people form a great family, a powerful and united family, will continue to work and create together in the future to attain the goals set forth and will only advance for their children and grandchildren and for great Russia.

He wished all the people good health and happiness, success in everything and only love at all times.
