A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry censured the West for its hypocritical act at a press conference on December 22.

The Western powers have offered a large quantity of weapons to Israel while trying to brand Iran’s missile programme as a “threat”, he said, dubbing it as an obvious hypocritical act.

He noted that Iran’s missile programme is for defending the sovereignty of the country and can never be an object of negotiations or bargaining.
