A performance “Pyongyang Is Best” was given by the artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea at the Hall of Women in Pyongyang on December 25 to mark the Constitution Day of the DPRK.

Among the audience were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the SWUK, women’s union officials and its members in Pyongyang.

The performance began with narrative and chorus “The Land of the People”. The performers sang of the great pride and patriotic enthusiasm of the women across the country who are making a tangible contribution in the struggle for ushering in the era of overall development as genuine masters of the great country in which the idea of building the people-first law is thoroughly embodied.

The poetic narrative “Law of Love” and other numbers represented the boundless reverence of all the people for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who have invariably defended the people-oriented character of the Constitution of the DPRK and energetically led the work for strengthening the legal system with his outstanding wisdom and seasoned leadership ability and thus further consolidated the institutional and legal foundation for defending the interests of the people and the country.

The performance ended with poem and chorus “We Travel the Road to Socialism Only” and “Our Powerful Motherland”, redoubling the enthusiasm of the officials and members of the women’s union to fully display the great mental power and revolutionary mettle peculiar to the Korean women.
