Rangnim County greeted the moments of celebrating the inauguration of regional-industry factories built under the energetic guidance of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea which is powerfully leading the historic cause of bringing about a radical regional change to a steady success.

An inauguration ceremony of regional-industry factories was held on December 15. Present there were Pak Jong Chon, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, officials of the Party and power organs and working people in the province and county and employees of the regional-industry factories.

The speaker stressed that the miraculous and creative success in completing the construction of the factories in the year when it started, demonstrating the dynamic feature of the regional development, was unthinkable apart from the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is devoting himself with ardent loving care to making the ideal appearance of regional areas the true picture of socialist Korea, regarding his work for the people as his pride.

He pointed to the need for the officials of Rangnim County and the province and the employees of the regional-industry factories to set the orientation and goal of development peculiar to the economy of their region as a mountainous county on the basis of the self-supporting economic bases provided by the Party, scrupulously lay long-term foundations for growth, increase the variety of products and actively develop and produce the specialities representing their area, thus making a substantial contribution to improving the people's standards of living.

He called on the officials and working people to work harder to transform their native place with the confidence in the brighter future and redoubled efforts, bearing deep in mind the benevolence of the Party which provided the county with the wealth of prosperity, and thus hasten the comprehensive development of the great motherland.

Ri Yong Il, chief secretary of the Rangnim County Committee of the WPK, said that the regional-industry factories built thanks to the peerlessly great man's noble spirit and ardent devotion serve as a springboard for the county's economic development and a precious asset for improving the people's standards of living, adding that the factories would increase the production of popular goods favoured by residents in the county and with features peculiar to the county by directing primary efforts to improving the quality of products.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants went round the wonderful factories with admiration.

A colourful art performance was given and the cheerful laughter of people echoed throughout the county.

That evening, the residents enjoyed the new scenes of change unfolding in the mountainous county and felt the pulse of rejuvenation provided by the WPK's policy, amid the spectacular display of fireworks celebrating the inauguration of the regional-industry factories.
