Integrated school newly built
November 30, 2025Jonjin Senior Middle School, newly built as an integrated school in Rangnang District, Pyongyang, was inaugurated.
The school with a total floor space of more than 19 300 square metres has classrooms, laboratories, outdoor study sites and multi-functional halls for kindergarten, primary, junior and senior classes in line with the modern educational development trend and pedagogical requirements. It is also equipped with educational equipment, sports apparatuses and teaching aids.
An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on November 27.
Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and working people in the municipality and teaching staff of the school.
Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, made an inaugural address.
At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the school.
