Shortly ago, the 27th national exhibition of sports sci-tech achievements and the national symposium on teaching methods in the field of sports-2025 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang.

The exhibition and symposium aimed to widely introduce, share and generalize excellent sports sci-tech achievements and teaching methods made in the field of sports.

On display there were programs, measuring devices, sports equipment, medicines and nutrients and sports sci-tech books and essays presented by over 290 units, including the Academy of Sports Science and Korea University of Physical Education.

Training apparatuses for weightlifters presented by the Pyongyang Sports Club were highly appreciated as they were simple in structure but very practical in evaluating the accuracy of players’ movements and raising the effectiveness of training.

Nutrients brought out by sports-related research institutes and sports clubs were recognized to be highly efficacious.

The symposium was attended by teachers, coaches, instructors and researchers from more than 60 units including sports education units, sports teams and clubs across the country. They gave presentations on the creation and introduction of practical and advantageous methods of sports education, instruction and training, and shared the experience with each other.

The seven-day exhibition and symposium served as an occasion for putting the country’s sports on a more scientific footing.
