An evening gala of youth and students took place at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on August 15, the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

The venue of the gala, which was resounding with songs like “Song about the Motherland” and “We Are Koreans”, was filled with pride and optimism of the youth and students who greeted the anniversary of the liberation of their beloved motherland at the watershed in the 80-year history of heroic struggle and creation.

A dance party started to the tune of the song “We Sing of the Leader’s Revolutionary Cause” praising the noble life and revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who achieved the historic cause of national liberation and laid an eternal foundation for the happiness and prosperity of generations to come.

Different letters including “August 15” and “Celebration” appeared on the floor of the square, and anti-Japanese revolutionary popular dance and women’s group dance decorated the venue in a peculiar way.

The dance of the youth and students was brimming with deep reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who glorifies the President’s sacred exploits for national liberation as the eternal wealth of the Korean revolution and carries on the ever-victorious history of the Korean revolution and the heroic history of dignified and powerful Juche Korea.

Amid the heightened atmosphere of the gala filled with boundless pride of the young people in devoting their youth to the worthwhile struggle for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people, fantastic fireworks were set off in the nocturnal sky over the capital city.
