Kim Song Nam, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK and director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, met and had a friendly talk with Ivan Melinikov, first deputy speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, and other major members of the delegation of the State Duma of the Russian Federation at the Mansudae Assembly Hall in Pyongyang on August 15.

Present there were a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the SPA, officials concerned and the minister-councillor of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang.

At the talk, there was a good exchange of views on the issues arising in further developing the friendly relations between the two countries.
