For nearly 80 years since its establishment on June 1 1946, the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers’ Party of Korea has recorded in its proud history great contributions to the Party building and the strengthening of the entire Party.

The school was newly built last year in the historic Kumsusan area overlooking the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong as a world-class political school equipped with an advanced educational system and excellent educational conditions and environment.

The inauguration of the Central Cadres Training School is not confined to the establishment of a first-rate political school.

Anyone who visits the school can find clear answers to the questions of how the lifeline of the Party and the revolution is carried forward and how its absolute ruling power and leadership ability are put on a permanent basis and can read the steadfast will of the WPK to defend the eternal continuity and invincibility of the Juche revolution by giving definite precedence to training Party cadres over all other affairs in the future, too.

The party-building cause of the working class is a long-term undertaking which continues generation after generation and the success in the matter of preserving the party’s fighting programme and character and maintaining and intensifying its inherent character and climate would never come of its own accord simply because the party has a long history as government party and excellent traditions.

As time passes and the Party’s history becomes longer, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un concentrates efforts on the qualitative enhancement of the backbone of the Party, related with its future for the next 100 years.

In his important speech “Train Cadres of the Party in the New Era Who Are Faithful to the Ideal and Spirit of Its Founding” delivered at the inauguration ceremony of the school in May last year, the respected General Secretary said that to guarantee the lasting prosperity of the WPK by carrying forward the ideals and spirit of the Party founding pure and clean is the core of the idea of our Party building, adding that the WPK will grow stronger with today as a new starting point and write a proud chapter of history of making another great turn in the destiny of the country and people.

At the ceremony of opening the school held on June 1 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of its founding, he conferred the flag of the WPK on the school, expressing his firm belief that the school will stand in the vanguard of the sacred cause of guaranteeing and realizing the glorious inheritance of the Party.

At the institution where the WPK’s red flag is fluttering, the core pillars of and successors to the Party, who are possessed of the Party’s original ideals and spirit of the people-first principle as their mental qualities, are growing in the most thoroughgoing and perfect way without the slightest deviation or discolouring.

Thanks to this solid foundation, the WPK will advance along the road of victory toward the brilliant future as a steel-strong party which is faithful to its original ideals and spirit and imbued with one ideology, no matter how many generations and centuries may change.

Herein lies a main factor of the invincibility of the WPK which guides the Korean people to victory.
