WFDY conference extends full support for just cause of DPRK people and youth
June 2, 2025The 21st Conference of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) held in Namibia expressed full support for the just cause of the DPRK people and youth.
The solidarity statement of the World Federation of Democratic Youth to the DPRK people and youth struggling for independence, justice and socialism adopted on May 24 disclosed the fact that the tension on the Korean peninsula is escalating as never before due to the US reckless and mean policy of hostility toward the DPRK.
It said that to prevent a war and achieve durable peace on the Korean peninsula is a contribution to defending global peace and security, extending full support and solidarity for the just cause of the DPRK people and youth who are devotedly struggling for independence, justice, socialism and the development of the world youth movement.
It said that the WFDY strongly demands the US stop at once its annual unethical and aggressive nuclear war drills against the DPRK and immediately withdraw its all nuclear strategic assets threatening the situation on the Korean peninsula and the region.
It noted that the WFDY extends warm militant greetings and solidarity to all the people and youth of the DPRK who are fighting hard against the US, the wrecker of global peace.
It ardently called upon the world progressive people and youth to positively join in the struggle of the DPRK people and youth to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and put an end to the danger of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula.
