The Sangwon Cement Complex, which has made miraculous successes in increased production, is steadily updating technical indices for the whole process of production by relying on science and technology.

The complex grasps the details of equipment operation, sets the objects for equipment repair a week before the monthly intensive maintenance and organizes manpower and supplies materials needed for it beforehand.

An emergency occurred in mid-April when it had to change the support roller of cement kiln No. 1, which can be claimed to be the heart of cement production.

The complex has never done such a work since its inauguration, so all the employees were unaccustomed to it.

Officials of the complex organized technical consultative meetings more than ten times and had intense discussions with technicians and skilled workers to find a reasonable way to do it.

Finally, they succeeded in replacing the support roller in close cooperation with the engineering, repair, precision machine and other workshops and finished its repair, which was expected to take three days, in a day and then that of cement kiln No. 1 ahead of schedule.

And the complex ensures the full-capacity operation of equipment by increasing the number of circuit inspection and repairing equipment qualitatively every month in all workshops.

The engineering sector speeds up the production of over 80 kinds of parts of equipment and materials needed for equipment repair including steel balls and welding rods to carry out the repair of equipment for all the processes in a responsible manner every month.

The calcination, furnace building and several other workshops also ensure the normal production by repairing their equipment qualitatively in a short time.
