The first-term camping began at the Samjiyon Children's Camp.

A ceremony of kicking off the camping took place on May 30.

Present there were Kim Chol Nam, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, officials and teaching staff of the camp and campers.

The flag of camping was hoisted amid the playing of the song "March of the Children's Union".

Speakers at the ceremony said that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un bestowed favours on schoolchildren so that they could enjoy camping at the splendid palace in the City of Samjiyon which turned into a standard mountain town of culture and a model regional city.

They called on all the schoolchildren to further improve their knowledge through camping and firmly prepare themselves to be true sons and daughters and young revolutionaries of the socialist country who are possessed of strong physical strength.
