Russian presidential aide mentions growing threat by NATO
May 31, 2025Russian Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev referred to the growing threat by NATO at a consultative meeting on May 26.
The international security structure, which had been established after the Second World War, was destroyed just by NATO, he said, adding that basic treaties on the weapons control were abrogated, the presence of NATO’s naval forces in the Baltic Sea has been expanded and its combat efficiency and reconnaissance potential have also been strengthened.
And he criticized that the West is causing military tension in the Baltic Sea, continuing to press ahead with anti-Russian sanctions policy with a view to hindering the international maritime transport of the Russian freight and completing the plans for blocking the passage of Russian vessels.
