DPRK weightlifter wins 2025 IWF World Youth and Junior Championships
May 7, 2025DPRK weightlifter Kim Yong Ju came first at the 2025 IWF World Youth and Junior Championships held in Peru.
Kim Yong Ju won three gold medals in the junior women's 81kg category on May 4 by lifting 110kg in snatch, 142kg in clean and jerk and 252kg in total.
Meanwhile, Kim Ju Phyong finished runner-up in the junior men's 61kg category by lifting 124kg in snatch.
