Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian denounced the US for its unilateral pressure and threats against his country on April 6.

Iran doesn’t negotiate with a country like the US putting the greatest pressure and making threats almost every day, he said, stressing that his country would pursue negotiations only when the US administration discontinues rude acts and proves its sincerity about negotiations.

Meanwhile, on April 7, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that his country is ready for any situation and has the military capability strong enough to cope with any act of aggression and attack.

He added that Iran will surely take a resolute, instant and extensive countermeasure in case the US’ threats are carried out.
