The DPRK has ushered in an era of great prosperity when the great national might is demonstrated to the whole world and the people’s centuries-old desire is translated into reality, a new era of overall development of socialism when people, society and mountains and rivers undergo remarkable change.

The appearance of Pyongyang, where a golden age of construction is being ushered in, constitutes the most striking transformative entity demonstrating the spirit of the powerful DPRK rising higher and faster from miracles to greater miracles and a source of great strength leading the rejuvenation and development of the whole country.

The scientific and technological field has established a research climate for solving the problems urgently needed for the development of the self-supporting economy and the improvement of the people’s living standards and achieved proud results in the high-tech fields including space science and technology, thereby contributing to boosting national strength. The educational structure has radically been improved so that more advanced and practical education can be given to students, the material and technical foundations of public health have been strengthened and remarkable successes have been achieved in the fields of sports, art and literature.

Not only the capital city but also local areas undergo change beyond recognition. This is another characteristic of the present times when the DPRK advances dynamically towards overall rejuvenation.

There appeared ideal, model towns, an unheard-of mountain-gorge town, the world’s leading greenhouse farms, wonderful facilities epitomizing new civilization and new modern rural villages and thereby all parts of the country are filled with the people’s laughter. Along with the construction of modern regional-industry factories, public health and grain storage facilities and leisure complexes, which have not even been conceptualized in the history of regional construction, are being built to turn local areas into ideal villages envied by urbanites.

The era of the comprehensive development of socialism is a period of great positive change in the ideological and spiritual aspects of people, which leads to ever-growing revolutionary enthusiasm and fighting spirit.

Today, the Korean people’s insight, way of thinking, rhythm of life, fighting style and style of work are also changing remarkably. Amid the growing trend of new innovations, bold creation and steady advance, the whole country is full of the people’s zeal, vigour and pulsation to become standard-bearers of the times with the dignity and personality of citizens of a powerful country.

Today, their patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit are focused on the aspiration to overall national rejuvenation and they are putting forth all their energy.

Patriotic scientists, patriotic meritorious persons, patriotic workteams and patriotic families grow in number in every site of creation for making a leap forward toward the world by dint of self-reliance and giving full play to the advantages of Korean-style socialist system centred on the masses of the people in all sectors and fields.

Today, the burning desire to go to communism permeates the struggle and life of the Korean people aspiring after overall national rejuvenation. Amid such a strong trend, genuine people who have communist ideology and spirit, the personifiers of communist virtues and traits who think of the collective before themselves and share joy and sorrow with one another, are produced in large numbers to add warm feelings and fragrance to the great harmonious socialist family. The proud way of life of creating a beautiful future, more firmly united in the face of manifold difficulties and trials under the slogan of “One for all and all for one”, is the distinct symbol of the rising spiritual level of the state and people and the true features of the vibrant era.

A milestone of the times for epochal changes is set up by an outstanding leader and a great history begins along with the strong indication of creation and innovation.

The present new period of takeoff and overall development in which great leaps forward and innovations are being made in all fields of socialist construction is the brilliant fruition of the outstanding and seasoned leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

His revolutionary leadership, which covers all domains of politics, the economy, diplomacy and military and solves all problems perfectly, is consistent with the offensive-oriented leadership braving all difficulties and the people-oriented leadership giving full play to the initiative, creativity and activeness of the masses.
