As seen in the construction of 50 000 flats in Pyongyang, 10 000 flats were built every year without fail as decided by the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and common working people moved into the modern flats in succession.

In addition, the whole country seethes with the joy of groundbreaking and inaugurating of the proud creations of the Regional Development 20×10 Policy which rise up one after another in different parts of the country to bring about great changes in material and cultural life of the regional people.

At the groundbreaking ceremony for the fourth-stage project to build 10 000 flats in the Hwasong area last February, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that he was really tired and busy attending inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies that were scheduled one after another as we were facing such moments of drastic change.
