Books are a silent teacher that imparts knowledge to people and teaches them truth.

It is a unanimous desire of parents to bring up their children as pillars of the country who are kind and honest from their childhood, and rich in emotion and possessed of high intellectual faculties.

Children’s books play a very important role in satisfying the desire. Therefore, people who advocated the importance of children’s books set the international day of children’s books six years ago. The day is April 2.

As a lot of e-game devices like computer have appeared, children are now more engrossed in playing the games than reading. This has a negative effect on their growth.

Childhood is an important period in developing moral traits of children and developing their thinking faculty. Only when children read many books in the period can they gain rich knowledge and improve their cultural attainments.

Children picture their own more vivid and mysterious world while listening to the soft and sweet voice of their mothers reading books to them and the mothers take pride in bringing up the children while hearing them reading books with a clear voice.

In our country, children’s books good for education and edification of children and their intellectual development are published a lot so as to make children like reading and grow up into pillars of the country possessed of noble traits and manifold knowledge, with a dream and ambition for their bright future.

The books make children have a good heart and healthy moral traits.

Different types of books for developing children’s intelligence have been published in large numbers, greatly helping improve their intellectual abilities like the power of thinking, observation, imagination and comparative analysis.
