The matches of several events in the general field (category of ministries and national agencies) for the 14th National People's Games came to a close.

The State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Taehung Trading Guidance Bureau and the Radio-Television Broadcasting Committee of the DPRK took the first place in the men's basketball event in their groups and the Ministry of Information Industry, the Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, the Ponghwa Trade Bureau and the Foreign Languages Publishing House in the badminton event.

The Ministry of Information Industry, the Ministry of Public Health, the Daesong Bank and the Foreign Languages Publishing House respectively topped the total rankings in Taekwon-Do.

Cups and medals were awarded to the teams and players that proved successful.
