Russian president refers to tasks to be tackled by prosecution organs
March 25, 2025Russian President Vladimir Putin referred to the tasks to be tackled by the prosecution organs at an enlarged council meeting of the supreme public prosecutors’ office on March 19.
The Russian army conducted a series of bold, swift and successful operations in Kursk, he said, adding that now it is concluding a mopping-up operation against the Ukrainian army in the region.
Saying that all the Ukrainian service personnel and foreign mercenaries there are terrorists, he stressed the need for the prosecution organs to carefully investigate their outrages and mete out punishment of justice to them.
As regards the fact that terror threat is growing remarkably, he said that it is important for the prosecution organs to raise the level of protection for objects of industrial and transport infrastructure and gathering places.
They should also pay great attention to the consumption of money disbursed for national plans and defence orders, steadily watch the purchase of equipment for medical institutions and the supply of medicines and immediately respond to the offences that are detected in this field, he added.
