March 24, 2025

According to an official of the Ministry of Education of the DPRK, a new teaching management system will be introduced into colleges in the teachers training sector from the new school year and it will make it possible to develop subjects in a more concrete way according to colleges, courses and students and give students more advanced education.

To this end, the ministry has designed an educational programme to improve the effectiveness of teaching and train more and better talents.

It organized short courses of different subjects to expand the horizons of officials and lecturers and improve their qualifications so that they would be able to efficiently implement the changed curriculum.

The ministry also completed an integrated teaching management system at a high level to put teaching administration on a scientific basis in keeping with the introduction of the new teaching management system.

Colleges in the teachers training sector in different parts of the country finished the preparations for introducing the new teaching management system.

Lecturers of Kim Chol Ju University of Education, Nampho University of Education, Phyongsong Teachers Training College and others made new teaching plans in line with the new educational programme and applied research-oriented teaching and study methods to subjects.

Meanwhile, various experimental simulation programs developed by the Academy of Pedagogical Science to improve intellectual and practical abilities of students have been spread across the country to prove effective.

Physics, chemistry, biology and nature experimental simulation programs enable students to practise all experimental processes, like handling experimental apparatuses, in a virtual environment before real experiments.

The programs, which are more intelligent than the previous ones, provide environment for research and experiments so that students can choose experimental apparatuses and reagents at will to do by themselves any experiment included in the educational programme.

The simulation of experiments enables students to further consolidate knowledge they learned while skilfully conducting experiments.

The experimental simulation programs are winning popularity in different parts of the country.
