Graduates of universities of education and teachers training colleges in North Phyongan Province and Kaesong Municipality have volunteered to work at revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu and schools in mountainous areas and on islets.

A graduate of Cha Kwang Su Sinuiju University of Education resolved to become a point man on the ideological front of the Workers' Party of Korea, whose mission is to firmly arm the people with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu while glorifying the immortal revolutionary exploits of the peerlessly great persons in the battle sites of Mt Paektu forever.

Graduates of Sinuiju Teachers Training College and Songdo University of Education vowed to work at schools in mountainous areas and at islet branch schools, out of the desire to unassumingly leave distinct traces as revolutionary teachers responsible for the future of the country.

Among the volunteers are graduates determined to work as teachers at rural schools, true to the Party's policy on reducing the gap in the educational level between urban and rural areas.

At meetings held on the spot to congratulate those volunteers, speakers requested all graduates to exalt the honour of patriotic youth in the vanguard of the struggle for realizing the Party's plan and intention and fulfill their duties as point men on the Party’s ideological front and as persons in direct charge of the education of the rising generation.

Officials, youth and students in North Phyongan Province and Kaesong Municipality encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them.
