Final-year senior middle school students in Ryanggang volunteer for military service

Hundreds of graduating-class students of senior middle schools in Ryanggang Province volunteered for military service at frontline posts.

All those at Rodong Senior Middle School in the city of Hyesan vowed to join the Korean People's Army.

Those in Kim Jong Suk and Kim Hyong Jik counties also expressed their determination to become reliable defenders of the socialist system.

Students in Hyesan City and Taehongdan and Kapsan counties petitioned for their military service at forefront border posts.

Those of Hyesan Middle School for Orphans and in Samsu, Paegam and other counties are filled with the will to wear the military uniform of the revolution and spend their youth at the posts for national defence.

At the meetings for volunteering held on the spot, war veterans and speakers handed the national flags of the DPRK over to the volunteers, requesting them to glorify every moment of their military service with feats.

The volunteers in their speeches expressed their resolve to protect the peace and security of the country from the enemy's aggression and challenge at the posts for national defence.

Teachers and students of their alma maters gave them bouquets and garlands as they encouraged them.
