Fishery stations in South Phyongan Province set out on the fishing campaign for this year.

They concentrated efforts on the repair and maintenance of fishing boats, while conducting a socialist emulation drive among fleets and ships.

The Mundok Fishery Station repaired and maintained equipment of all the fishing boats, produced and supplied fishing nets and various kinds of transport containers and organized the study of science and technology to enhance the technical knowledge and skills of fishermen.

Employees of different fishery units pushed ahead with the work to safely launch boats, while speeding up the repair of hulls and engines and the maintenance of fishing tackles.
