Final-year students of senior middle schools in North Phyongan volunteer for frontline army posts
March 14, 2025The present acute situation, in which the US and the puppet ROK military gangsters are staging anti-DPRK war exercises more frantically than ever before, makes all the young people in the DPRK, who have grown up under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea, while realizing the preciousness of their country, burn their hearts with hatred for the enemies and the spirit of annihilating them.
More than 600 students of graduating class of senior middle schools in North Phyongan Province have offered to join the army for national defence.
Those students in Hadan-ri of the city of Sinuiju were the first to volunteer for military service at forefront border posts.
Tens of final-year students at Hadan Senior Middle School No. 1, who had appreciated the value of their country through actual experience during their stay in Pyongyang, vowed to defend their beloved native places with arms.
Students of Kim Kwang Chol Senior Middle School in Kujang County hoped to stand at forefront posts, vowing to glorify every moment of military service with loyalty and feats and make their names engraved at their alma mater which is proud of having the name of Hero Kim Kwang Chol in its name.
Many students in Changsong, Unjon, Phihyon and other counties in the province also volunteered to join the Korean People's Army with a resolve to wipe out the enemies with the arms of revolution.
At congratulatory and volunteering meetings held in relevant areas, the speakers handed over the flags of the DPRK to those students who vowed to take their first step of requital and practice for their country at the forefront border posts after finishing school.
Volunteers expressed their determination to display their honour of being the socialist patriotic youth at every post for national defence, cherishing the trust and expectations of their native places and parents and siblings.
