Russia took a countermeasure against Japan’s policy of sanctions.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said on March 3 that a decision was adopted on indefinitely prohibiting the entry of nine Japanese citizens into Russia as a countermeasure against the sanctions the Japanese authorities have continuously imposed against Russia in connection with the special military operation.

The Japanese foreign minister and others have reportedly become the targets of sanctions.
