Factory colleges across the DPRK are directing efforts to the work for training talented persons, which is directly related to the strengthening of technical force of relevant units.

Officials of Sosong College of Technology have organized a refresher course for lecturers and conducted the work for the centralization of academic disciplines in various forms to increase the ranks of those who have academic degrees and titles and mastered several languages.

Phyongchon and Hungnam college of technology have intensified the practical education such as experiments in each subject, with the main emphasis placed on combining education with production, and theory with practice, thus making students acquire the ability to solve scientific and technological problems arising at production sites.

Sinuiju College of Technology has run a field study group to improve the teaching efficiency, through which teachers and students intensify discussions on the ways for ensuring normal production and modernization of the factory.

After building practical training rooms well, while further enriching the educational contents, Sunchon College of Technology has run them on a regular basis to train technical personnel needed for the production of ammonium phosphate fertilizer.

Meanwhile, Haeun and Chongjin colleges of technology are improving the quality of education to help students acquire practical knowledge.
