The Chinese representative clarified the stand to support the just cause of the Palestinian people in a meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council on February 27.

The “two-state proposal” is the only solution to the Palestinian issue and the Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the Palestinian territory, he said.

China invariably supports national rights of the Palestinian people, recognizes the management of Palestine by the Palestinians as a principle that should be observed without fail in the management of the Gaza Strip after the war and opposes the forcible removal of the people from Gaza, he stressed.

He called on each side to attach importance to the will and demand of Arab countries, especially Palestine, and strive to resolve the humanitarian crisis in the occupied Palestinian territory and promote the extensive, just and permanent settlement of the Palestinian issue.
