A ceremony of awarding the title of top 10 teachers of 2024 was held at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang on February 26.
Present there were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Jon Sung Guk, Minister of Education Kim Sung Du and officials and teachers in the education sector in the capital city.
Jon Sung Guk made a speech at the ceremony.
Certificates of top 10 teachers of 2024 were awarded to Pae Un Hui, teacher of Kim Song Ju Primary School, Kim In Ok, teacher of Rungna Senior Middle School in Taedonggang District affiliated to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Kim Sung Bok, teacher of Toksong Primary School in Phyongsong City affiliated to Phyongsong Teachers Training College, Ri Yong Hui, teacher of Kusong Middle School No. 1, Ro Myong Ju, chief kindergartener of Sariwon Orphanage, Ko Ryong Thaek, teacher of Osang Senior Middle School in Yonggwang County, An Chang Hyon, teacher of Sohae Senior Middle School in Waudo District, Yun So Gwang, teacher of Kaesong Middle School No. 1, Kung Jong Sik, lecturer of Phyongsong University of Education, and Ryu Sun Ok, department head of Sariwon Teachers Training College.
They have unsparingly devoted their wisdom and passion to making education the one to which the future of the country can fully be entrusted with a sense of being directly responsible for education, clear conscience as educator and high qualifications.
