Factory increases production of textbooks for new school year
February 23, 2025Marked improvement has been brought about every day in the production of textbooks for new school year at the Educational Books Printing Plant.
“In our country the universal 12-year compulsory free education is in force. In the period a student receives more than 140 textbooks. The employees of our factory work hard to carry out the production plan of textbooks to be supplied to all students across the country ahead of schedule,” said chief engineer Mun Kwang Su.
The factory is performing the production tasks ahead of schedule while gradually increasing the production capacity.
The printing and bookbinding workshops run the sci-tech learning space effectively by focusing on improving the technical knowledge and skills of their employees. In this course, they made a breakthrough for production rise by introducing valuable inventions for raising the operating rate of equipment pieces 1.3 times and reducing their power consumption.
Workers and technicians of the semi-finished products workshop newly remodelled parts of major pieces of equipment to save much labour and time for the repair and maintenance of them. And the repair and maintenance workshop ensured over 98 percent of power factor to contribute to markedly reducing power loss by reactive power at the factory.
From the viewpoint that economy is just increased production and patriotism, members of the paper-making workteam lowered production costs remarkably while improving the quality of products by making effective use of waste pieces from cutting papers for the production of textbooks and developing a new automatic temperature control device.
The officials and employees of the factory continue to expand successes in production with greater enthusiasm for competition between workshops and workteams.
