The UN-based Iranian permanent mission rejected the US’ preposterous criticism that Iran is involved in the Yemeni dispute in a letter sent to the United Nations on February 13.

The letter branded as unfounded the US’ claim that Iran is rendering military and technical and financial support to the Yemeni resistance forces in disregard of the arms embargo of the UN Security Council.

Asserting that the US cannot conceal its complicity in Israel’s crimes by dint of the mudslinging campaign against Iran, the letter stressed that Iran consistently maintains a stand that the Yemeni crisis should be resolved through a comprehensive political process guaranteeing the country’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
