A reception was given on February 8 to mark the 77th founding anniversary of the heroic Korean People's Army.

Present there were No Kwang Chol, Jong Kyong Thaek, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence and military and political commanding officers of units at all levels of the Korean People's Army.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers said that it is the great honour and happiness only revolutionary soldiers with arms in hand can enjoy to celebrate the Day of Army Founding under the warm loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un this year, too, after last year.

They called on all the participants to faithfully carry the honour of our generation and army on their shoulders with epaulettes shining with stars of noble trust and make courageous advance and struggle toward the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea as befit the core elements of the revolutionary army trained by the great Party.
