Officials, service personnel, working people, students and schoolchildren visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il throughout the DPRK to lay baskets of flowers and bouquets to mark the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Korean People’s Army.
Flower baskets were placed at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in the name of the organs of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the government and the armed forces, ministries, national agencies, the units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces, factories and universities.
The visitors made a bow at the statues.
Floral tributes were also paid at their statues in different parts of Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University in the name of KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises.
KPA service personnel, working people, students and schoolchildren in local areas across the country also paid their respect to the peerlessly great men at their statues in localities.
