Workers get more elated with work

Ji Tal U, a worker at the Yonthan County Foodstuff Factory, promised to become a renowned innovator at the factory together with his son who has started working in the same factory after finishing his military service. They are helping each other in life, but they are friendly rivals at work.
The workers’ enthusiasm is growing with each passing day as they take pride in making various goods out of locally available raw materials and supplying them to people in their hometowns.
Choe Kum Hwa, an employee of the Unchon County Foodstuff Factory, said that she would bring earlier the new development of her native home at the workplace of happiness, adding that she is working with great pleasure, operating modern machines with buttons.
“Now we are producing quality goods as good as those of central industrial establishments with the raw and other materials abundant in the county,” said Ri Un Hyang, head of a workteam in the Songchon County Daily Necessities Factory. “When we see local customers admire our products, we feel pride and honour in our work. We are really getting elated with work.”
The emergence of regional-industry factories has brought about a great change not just in the economic development of the regions but in the life and civilization of the local people.
