Vietnamese embassy hosts reception
February 3, 2025The Vietnamese embassy in Pyongyang hosted a reception on January 31 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Present there at invitation were Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, An Hyon Min, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials concerned.
Le Ba Vinh, Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials were on hand.
The ambassador made a speech at the reception.

He extended sincere thanks to the party, government and people of the DPRK who are rendering precious support and encouragement to the Vietnamese people in their cause for defending and developing the country.

Choe Son Hui made a speech.
She said that the DPRK-Vietnam friendly and cooperative relations provided by the preceding leaders have greeted a new phase of development under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries.
It is the steadfast stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to always value the tradition of friendship with Vietnam with socialism as its core and develop it in an all-round way and thus contribute to the cause of socialist construction in the two countries and the struggle of the world people aspiring after independence and justice, she stressed.
She wished the Vietnamese people success in their struggle to build a prosperous and civilized socialist state by successfully implementing the decisions of the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam under the guidance of the party.
